Louis Summe
Co-Founder & Chief Executive Officer
Louis Summe, who joined LiveVox in October 1999, has spent over 15 years creating and building technology based communication services. Before joining the Company, Mr. Summe served as the Vice President of Business Development and Product Management for Physicians' Online (POL), the leading online service for physicians with over 200,000 physician members. Mr. Summe was instrumental in selling POL to Mediconsult - now part of WebMD (Nasdaq: HLTH) for $200 million. Prior to joining POL, Mr. Summe held Marketing, Product Development & Business Development positions at Merck-Medco. His accomplishments include physician and patient communication programs for Pfizer and Merck, which enrolled over 10,000 physicians, 3.5 million patients and generated $50 million in annual revenues. Prior to Merck-Medco, Mr. Summe was a Systems Engineer at EDS.
Mr. Summe holds an M.B.A. with honors from Columbia University and a B.A. in Physics from Xavier University.
Larry Siegel
Co-Founder & Executive Vice President of Operations
Mr. Siegel joined LiveVox in February of 2000. Before joining the Company, Mr. Siegel spent three years with North Shore LIJ Health System (includes 13 hospitals, 75 ambulatory care centers and over 6,000 physicians) developing their physician networks. As Director of Physician Network Development, Mr. Siegel purchased 6 practices (30 MDs), 4 medical buildings and actively managed the resulting $35 million in revenues. In addition, he developed the hospital's first risk contract. Prior to joining North Shore, Mr. Siegel held product management and marketing positions at Vision Sciences where he led the launch of their disposable endoscopic sheaths including Ent EndoSheath® and Sigmoidoscope®.
Mr. Siegel holds an M.B.A. from Columbia University and a B.A. in Economics from Skidmore College.
Michael Leraris
Chief Financial Officer
Michael Leraris joined LiveVox in July 2007. Before joining the company, Mr. Leraris serviced as Vice President of Operations for Penny Plate, Inc., a privately held manufacturer of aluminum packaging products. Prior to Penny Plate, Mr. Leraris worked in both investment management and investment banking for Kenisco Capital Management, Crown Capital Group and Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette.
Mr. Leraris received both an MBA, with honors, and B.S. in Economics, cum laude, from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.
Joe Gelbard
Executive Vice President, Sales
Mr. Gelbard joined LiveVox in October 2005. Before joining the Company, Mr. Gelbard spent three years as the Director of West Coast Sales and General Manager for Westwood One Radio where he managed ten sales people, grew existing business, developed new business in territories and managed a 2005 budget in excess of $21 million. Clients included Clorox, Microsoft, Charles Schwab, Chevron, and Yahoo. Prior to Westwood One, Mr. Gelbard was the Manager of Broadcasting Alliances for Dotcast and West Coast Manager for Bloomberg LP.
Mr. Gelbard holds an M.B.A. from the University of San Francisco and a B.S in English from the University of Pennsylvania.
John McNamara
Chief Marketing Officer
John McNamara leads marketing and communications strategy at LiveVox, including brand development, platform and application awareness, sales/marketing alignment, lead generation, client nurturing, and alliances with technology providers, VARs and channel partners.John brings 28 years of contact center executive and operations expertise with intense focus on technology applications and call center optimization. John is the director and co-founder of Fidelis Recovery Solutions, Inc., a receivables management firm. Prior to LiveVox and Fidelis, John was COO for Asset Management Outsourcing; SVP of Operations at Nationwide Credit/ACB; and VP of Operations at United Recovery Systems.John is a frequent speaker, panelist, consultant and author addressing key issues and trends in contact center operations, technology and consumer credit. In 2009, he was the winner of the ACA Kurt Swersky award for leadership.John is a summa cum laude graduate of Kennesaw State University with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Finance.
Chris Pigott
Vice President, Product Management
Formerly the Global VP of Services and Product for three contact center software companies, including Genesys Telecommunications (sold to Alcatel for approx. $1.9B), The Exigen Group, and SandCherry. He was responsible for product requirements, solution requirements, product feature implementation, training, and support on Worldwide projects in the Outsourcing Industry (Teletech, Convergys, Sitel, Teleperformance, Sykes, APAC Customer Services, West, etc.); Telecommunications Industry (Verizon, Sprint, MCI, AT&T, BT, Telecom Italia, DT, Telstra, NTT, Bell Canada, etc); Financial Industry (Barclays, JP Morgan Chase, Bank of America, Charles Schwab, Morgan Stanley, T. Rowe Price, Visa International, Wells Fargo, Merrill Lynch, etc.); Insurance Industry (Allstate, Nationwide, Kemper, Travelers, USAA, etc.); Healthcare Industry (Blue Cross/Blue Shield, Kaiser Permanente, Glaxo Wellcome, Merck Medco, etc.); High Tech and Software (3-Com, Microsoft, Sun Microsystems, Gateway, Hewlett-Packard, Intel, Oracle/Siebel/Peoplesoft); and others customers (Yellow Freight, Finnair, Ford, Sears, 1-800 Flowers, Amazon.com, Home Shopping Network, Mercedes-Benz, ADP, American Airlines, Canadian Tire CP Rail, Federal Express, etc.).Prior to Genesys, Chris served in many capacities in all facets of Management and Executive Management of Operations, Information Technologies, Telecom, Network, and Business at MCI Telecommunications, for more than 9 years.Mr. Pigott holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science from the University of Iowa.
Michael Reed
Vice President, Engineering
As Vice President of Engineering, Michael Reed is responsible for the development and management of network scalability, security, IT controls and development across LiveVox’s multi-tenant architecture. Reed joins the LiveVox team from Tellme where he previously served as Vice President of Operations and Engineering. Tellme was acquired by Microsoft in 2007 and provides an on-demand VOIP speech platform for inbound and outbound IVR applications for companies like Fidelity, Merrill Lynch, E*TRADE, Fedex, Wells Fargo and American Airlines. Michael brings over 20 years of experience in building and scaling highly available services, including executive roles at MCI/Worldcom (now Verizon), AOL, PCS Telecom and SRK Systems. Michael holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Arizona and enjoys woodworking, golf and fly-fishing.
