Telephony Applications and Support Engineer

Summary:

The Telephony Applications and Support Engineer provides technical design expertise and project management of complex technology solutions, including Telephony Contact Center, Computer Telephony Integration, Intelligent Command Routing, Telephony Carrier based routing applications, Quality Monitoring, and other innovative Contact Center telephony applications to support a globally diverse enterprise.

The position requires rapid development skills and the ability to assist with various projects as needed.

Candidates must work well within a team environment, and have strong documentation skills. A strong work ethic and ability to collaborate is expected.

Responsibilities:

Responsible for the successful completion of project assignments as measured against customer requirements and specifications documented in the developed project plan.

Key indicators for success include:

• Deliver complete customer satisfaction within the defined scope, budget, and project schedule.
• Improve the quality of contact center telephony application design, engineering and support we provide for our internal customers
• Provide customers a single point of contact for Computer Telephony Integration and Intelligent Contact Routing Application applications
• Develop strategies, make recommendations on the selection of carriers and vendors
• Scope, design and engineer
• Order voice equipment and circuits
• Ceate requests for information proposals
• Research and develop new technologies.
• Work with the internal business units and external partners to develop highly reliable solutions for a 24x7 mission critical Internet environment
• Implement the writing of test plan documents and executing test cases
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Willingness to learn
• Team player
• Well organized and detail oriented; ability to multi-task
• 5 to 7 years of experience in software development
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
• Must be detail oriented and must have ability to multitask several priorities
